Martin Luther King Jr. was a Baptist minister who is known for his great activism. Martin Luther King Jr. was a great spokesman whose actions helped in changing the lives of the oppressed till he was assassinated in 1968.

Similarly, the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, is known for his fearlessness in speaking against crime and injustice. Note that over the past few months, Ortom has defended his people against the herdsmen and bandits who have been committing crimes in his state. On the other hand, Samuel Ortom has been attacked by many socio-political commentators for being outspoken against what is happening in his state.

However, in a post on his official Twitter page, Samuel Ortom quoted a powerful message by Martin Luther King Jr. The message speaks against accepting second-class citizenship, accepting the status quo. The message also talks about keeping shut amid evil and injustice.
