Following the decision of INEC to declare the March 18 governorship election in Adamawa State as inconclusive, the agent of the PDP has alleged foul play behind the scenes.

Speaking to correspondents of TVC , the PDP agent maintained that there is nothing like an inconclusive election with regard to the governorship election held in Adamawa State. He alleged that the REC officer has been given an instruction to either declare the candidate of the APC as the winner, or he should declare the entire results as inconclusive.

He said: “There was no inconclusive results. You are all living witnesses here, where this criminal REC officer, has been given instruction to declare this woman by hook or crook or declare the results as inconclusive. The collation officer misled Nigerians by saying that elections were not held in 47 polling units, elections were held in each one of them.”

From the results announced by INEC, Senator Aishatu Dahiru aka Binani of the APC, scored 390,275 votes while the incumbent governor of the PDP, Ahmadu Fintiri, polled 421,524 votes.
