The All Progressive Congress (APC) on Wednesday in Ondo State, held their final mass rally for the upcoming governorship election, slated for tomorrow the 10th of October, 2020.
APC state governors, chieftaincy and stake holders as well as some other strong leaders and pillars of the party were all in attendance for the mass rally.
Among those that attended were, the acting chairman of the All Progressive Congress Party, Kogi State Governor, Yobe State Governor and a host of others.
But two significant people who holds the party together were however missing.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu Jagaban and Edo State’s Adams Oshiomole were no where to be found. This of course has raised a lot of questions as to their whereabouts during the rally.
Although the national leader of the party, Bola Tinubu as well as President Buhari sent their words, urging the people of Ondo State to vote APC come Saturday, the likes of Adams Oshiomole has chosen to remain silent.
Is is because of the just concluded Edo State elections, is he still in shock or is there another reason to it, I can’t seem to comprehend.
I believe this could result into a big problem for them on Saturday as it might mean their house is not in order and like the popular saying goes “a house divided against itself cannot stand”.
The election tomorrow is going to be a 3 leg race, therefore APC should put their house in order and allow people see the unity, or else, just like what happened in Edo, APC might be kissing political power goodbye for the next four years in Ondo State.
