Nigerians Weep As Five Soldiers Abducted During Boko Haram Attack On Gov Zulu’s Convoye Has Been Slaughterd

It is really sad to discover that the 5 Soldiers that were abducted when Boko Haram militants attacked the convoy of Borno State Governor – Babagana Umara Zulum, on Friday 25th September, 2020; have been slaughtered. As reported, the 5 Soldiers were abducted in an Armored Personnel Carrier, APC.

According to the report on Vanguard, the five abducted Soldiers were found dead and slaughtered in a bush around Cross Kauwa, during a search and rescue operation.

Recall that it was reported that the convoy of the Borno State Governor was attacked by the terrorists on Friday 25th September, 2020, along Cross Kauwa-Baga road in Borno State.

This attack lead to the instant death of over 30 persons including 10 policemen and 4 Soldiers, including the 5 Soldiers that were abducted, who were later slaughtered.

What is The Way Forward?

Seeing how the Boko Haram Attacks increase in Borno State today, it becomes very fearful to hear about the name, “Borno State”.

Since the terrorists can now have the strength to attack and succeed, the convoy of a whole Governor of the State – Borno State; it then seems that no place is safe in the State.

It means that they now have the strength to lay their attacks in any town and region of Borno State without difficulty.

Recall that after they attacked the Governor on Friday 25th September 2020, they have just laid another attack on the same Governor of Borno State yesterday being Sunday 27th September, 2020; along Monguno-Maiduguri axis while returning to the state capital in the evening.

What do they even want from the Governor?

What do they even want from Nigerians?

What do they want from people?

Why are they so delighted on waisting people’s lives?

What is their benefit of waisting innocent lives?

When will this really stop?

How do we go about this?

Should we go for more security personnel in Borno State? But I believe we have more than enough security personnel over there.

Then why are the terrorists overpowering our security personnel?

I believe Borno State is one of the States in Nigeria that have a great number of military personnel, but if the terrorists can still overpower the security even amidst the high number of security personnel; it then seems difficult to figure out the solution to this insurgency.
