President Donald Trump has once again vowed that Joe Biden can’t become President Of the United States (POTUS) if the alleged violations of the election integrity are confirmed.
Though the results of the 2020 US presidential election have not yet been officially announced, major American media outlets have however projected Democratic candidate Joe Biden as the winner, a projection Trump and his team has repeatedly rejected.
“If we are right about the fraud, Joe Biden can’t be president. We’re talking about hundreds of thousands of votes. We’re talking about numbers like nobody has ever seen before”, the president said. “We used to have what was called Election Day. Now we have election days, weeks and months, and lots of bad things happened during this ridiculous period of time”, he added.
The president previously said that the American election system is under attack, as his rivals are trying to overturn everything he has done during his term, and by this annul the results of the 2016 elections.
The Trump campaign is committed to going to the US Supreme Court to challenge the outcome of the election, citing multiple violations in key states.
The president refuses to concede to Biden, who was declared the winner by American media networks. At the same time, Trump allowed the launch of the formal transition of power to the Biden-Harris team.
The campaign also issued a statement that a US Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation into voter fraud did not take into account evidence and witnesses that they produced after US Attorney General Bill Barr said investigators did not find evidence of massive voter fraud during the presidential election.
The final official result of the US election will be known after 14 December, when the Electoral College casts its vote.
Meanwhile, President Trump on Wednesday has urged US Supreme Court to “what’s right for our country” by ordering a “revote of the November 3 US presidential election.
In a 46-minute speech recorded in the White House and posted to Facebook, the president made the appeal to the highest court in the country ahile repeatingd his claims of election fraud and irregularities.
“Maybe you’ll have a revote, but I don’t think that’s appropriate. When those votes are corrupt, when they’re irregular, when they get caught, they’re terminated, and I very easily win,” Mr Trump said.
“This might be the most important speech I’ve ever made”, Mr Trump goes on to claim millions of votes in key swing states were cast illegally while holding up charts purporting to show irregular voting patterns.
“If that’s the case, the results of the individual swing states must be overturned and overturned immediately,” he said.
“Some people say that’s too far out. That’s too harsh. Well does that mean we take a president and we’ve just elected a president, where the votes were fraudulent? No. It means you have to turn over the election.”
The speech comes a day after attorney general Bill Barr said the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigations were “running down” claims of fraud that would potentially cover a “few thousand” votes, but not enough to have changed the outcome of the election.
